October Japan Investment Trust Management Co., Ltd. was newly established through the merger of Okasan Investment Trust Management, Osakaya Investment Trust Management, and Tamatsuka Investment Trust Management with capital of JPY 325 million.

1987

June Implemented a third-party allotment of new shares, increasing the capital to JPY 450 million.

1990

June Implemented a third-party allotment of new shares, increasing the capital to JPY 1 billion.

2008

April Changed the company name to Okasan Asset Management Co., Ltd. through the merger of Japan Investment Trust Management Co., Ltd. and Okasan Capital Management Co., Ltd.

2022

November Became a joint venture between the SBI Group and the Okasan Securities Group.

2023

July Changed the company name to SBI Okasan Asset Management Co., Ltd.

2025

September Acquired 100% of the shares of Okasan Capital Partners Co., Ltd. making it a wholly owned subsidiary.

October Changed the company name "Okasan Capital Partners Co., Ltd." to SBI Okasan Alternative Investment Co., Ltd.
